Versipelle è una fiaba contemporanea sull’adolescenza femminile come trasformazione invisibile, spesso taciuta: un corpo che cambia, ma di cui non si parla. La storia si concentra sul rapporto tra un padre e una figlia, chiusi in un emporio di montagna, vicini ma incapaci di comunicare. Come le fiabe di un tempo accompagnavano il passaggio dall’infanzia all’età adulta, questa fiaba moderna accompagna la protagonista e il pubblico lungo una soglia: quella tra il dentro e il fuori, tra l’umano e l’animale, tra ciò che siamo e ciò che potremmo diventare.

Versipelle is a contemporary fairy tale about female adolescence as an invisible, often unspoken transformation: a body that changes, yet remains unspoken. The story focuses on the relationship between a father and daughter, locked in a mountain store, close but unable to communicate. Just as fairy tales of the past accompanied the passage from childhood to adulthood, this modern tale accompanies the protagonist and the audience across a threshold: that between inside and outside, between human and animal, between what we are and what we could become.
