Immaginiamo che l’autrice della commedia sia Colombina, perché più volte, è stata alle prese con la maternità. La trama di Il pane quotidiano che Colombina ha pensato è questa: Arlecchino è ridotto in miseria e chiede la carità ai piedi della statua
dell’angelo Gabriele. Disperato invoca l’angelo affinché gli presti leali per“far scorta di pane in tutti forni che stanno nel cielo”. E qui Colombina,l’autrice,ha un’intuizione: farà parlare l’angelo, le si rivolgerà per dirle: tu concepirai un figlio. Decide di crederci e immagina un finale a modo suo.

Imagine that Colombina was writing the comedy, because several times, she has had to deal with motherhood. The plot of Il pane quotidiano that Colombina thought up is this: Harlequin is reduced to poverty and asks for charity at the foot of the statue of the angel Gabriel. Desperate, he invokes the angel to lend him his wings to” stockupon bread in all the bakeries that are in heaven”. And here Colombina, the author, has an intuition: she will make the angel speak, she will turn to her to tell her: you will conceive a child. She decides to believe it and imagines an ending in her own way.
