"Dear Wolf..." is the beginning of a letter that has the flavor of a fairy tale. There is a small house in the middle of a large forest. Snow gives the night a suspended silence, while stars inhabit a clear winter sky. Into that ramshackle old house have just moved mom, dad and little Jolie: a little girl with a vivid imagination that leads her to invent a million stories, so much so that even she, from time to time, questions the blurred boundary between reality and fiction. She is curious, brave, resourceful, likes the stars, her inseparable stuffed bear Boh, and things that are a little scary to her. Her parents are eccentric, in many affairs, they are hands on, arranging, preparing, conversing with each other, and often don't give much thought to what seem to be only fantasies. So they don't believe her when Jolie hears a sound she doesn't know, when she sees a shadow she doesn't recognize, but especially when she notices an unusual presence, a woodland creature that fascinates and simultaneously terrifies her. And when Boh disappears, Jolie feels an unstoppable courage, the courage that only love can give us. And she decides to set off, to go in search of Boh, into the unknown, she goes into the woods, meets its inhabitants, runs into dark shadows, discovers enchanted landscapes, and when she thinks she is lost forever, Grandfather Knot and Grandmother Bark will give her the key to face fear. Because we all have fear, and, sometimes, it can be tamed, if we look closely at it, if we go through it, it can become small and precious. It always depends on our gaze on her.
Drogheria Rebelot was born from the meeting between Miriam Costamagna, Andrea Lopez Nunes and Andrea Rizzo that took place within the "Nico Pepe" Academy of Dramatic Art in Udine. After graduating in 2015 each pursued research in different areas, for Miriam and Andrea Lopez in that of children's theater and figure theater and for Andrea Rizzo in contemporary dance. When in 2019 they attended "Animateria," a training course for an expert operator in figure theater techniques and languages, Miriam and Andrea L. decided to create their own company with which to experiment with what they had learned, with a particular focus on shadow theater and the mixing of languages, thus involving Andrea R. Returning to work together is a valuable opportunity to share what they had learned separately and thus enhance the skills of the individuals in a common project. In addition to their theatrical research, they conduct an experimentation in Figure Video in which, by creating a mixture between the language of figure theater and the language of film, they try to enhance each other's potential. They currently have two shows to their credit: "Caro Lupo" (selected for Progetto Cantiere promoted by the Incanti Festival in Turin), a theater-on-black and shadow theater show directed by Nadia Milani, and "CartaSìa" (winning project of the "Portraits on Stage" 2021 call, finalist of the N Uovo Teatro 2021 Award and finalist of the "Forever Young 2022" call promoted by Corte Ospitale), a theater-on-black and physical theater show.

DEAR WOLF
"Dear Wolf..." is the beginning of a letter that has the flavor of a fairy tale. There is a small house in the middle of a large forest. The snow gives the night a suspended silence, while the stars inhabit a clear winter sky. Mom, dad and little Jolie have just moved into that old and ramshackle house: a little girl with a fervid imagination that leads her to invent millions of stories, so much so that she too, occasionally, wonders about the blurred line between reality and fiction. She's curious, brave, resourceful, she likes the stars, her inseparable stuffed bear Boh and the things that scare her a little. His parents are eccentric, busy in many matters, they are hands that arrange, prepare, talk to each other and often do not give much weight to what appear to be just fantasies. So they don't believe her when Jolie hears a sound she doesn't know, when she sees a shadow she doesn't recognize, but especially when she notices an unusual presence, a creature of the woods that fascinates and, at the same time, terrifies her. And when Boh disappears, Jolie feels an unstoppable courage, that courage that only love can give us. And she decides to leave, to go in search of Dunno, toward the unknown, she goes into the woods, meets its inhabitants, runs into dark shadows, discovers enchanted landscapes, and when she thinks she's lost forever, Nonno Nodo and Nonna Bark will give you the key to facing fear. Because we are all afraid, and sometimes it can be tamed, if we look closely, if we go through it, it can become small and precious. It always depends on our gaze on her.
