Course on "Languages and techniques of puppetry in social integration activities".
The basic objective of the 500-hour course "Languages and Techniques of Figure Theatre in Social Integration Activities" is to provide a more up-to-date framework of competences in line with the employment possibilities required by a varied and developing market, with a special focus on the competences required by puppeteers, paramedical operators, educators, etc.
The training course aims to provide opportunities for learning and perfecting the methods and languages of puppetry to:
- people with experience in the fields of live entertainment, cinema and television, cultural and social work, schools and vocational training, care and rehabilitation of the disabled, visual and plastic arts, protection of cultural heritage and traditions, research or related fields
- puppeteers, storytellers, actors and operators in all categories of the performing arts seeking specialisation, professional consolidation and advanced training, with a view to participating in the employed or self-employed labour market at national or international level.
Recipients
People resident or domiciled in the Emilia-Romagna region.
Recipients of the course may therefore be people with previous knowledge and skills, which may have been acquired through:
- professional and non-professional paths and experiences in the performing arts sector, so that people can better qualify and improve their employment position, supporting the growth and development of the sector;
- coherent training paths, in order to recompose and translate acquired knowledge into professional skills, highlight and specialise skills and make them usable in working contexts.
Candidates must possess, in addition to aptitude and good motivation towards the specific role, also basic technical-professional knowledge and skills related to Figure Theatre, which will be assessed as essential for admission to the course.
